Specially designed to offer exceptional comfort for those at Very High Risk of developing pressure ulcers, the Apollo 5 Plus Airflow Mattress is also ideal for those with existing tissue damage (pressure ulcer grade 1 to 4).
This Premium Air Flow Mattress is a perfect choice for most care or nursing settings, supplied with an extremely durable and quiet pump which is very easy to use, offering years of excellent service. In the case of an emergency, this mattress has a rapid deflation for quick access CPR.
This highly unique alternating pressure mattress features a static mode which enables a stable surface to allow for safe patient transfers and handling. With 18 individual cells, the Apollo 5 Premium Airflow Mattress provides optimal pressure care by manually adjusting to the user's body shape and position, and provides an extremely dynamic alternating therapy action for lower interface pressures and gentle capillary stimulation. It also features humidity management, to help prevent tissue breakdown and skin maceration.
As standard, this mattress comes with a zipped PU cover to help prevent fluid ingress and internal mattress contamination. The cover can be removed with ease for cleaning, simply wiped clean, or machine washed up to 95 degrees to aid decontamination.
