Bed: The Medley Ergo from Invacare offers the perfect balance between budget, functionality and quality requirements.
The four sectioned profiling mattress support allows for a range of height combinations, providing an ideal position for the carer whilst ensuring maximum comfort for the client. The optimised length of the mattress platform sections provides increased comfort for clients when sitting up in bed and also reduces shear and friction when the bed sections are adjusted.

Mattress: This is a high specification, replacement foam mattress designed to meet the demands of the community and care environments.
Practical and durable, this mattress delivers exceptional levels of comfort and pressure redistribution at a great price. The Softform Premier Original mattress is suitable for those considered at high to very high risk of developing pressure ulcers and features a castellated insert constructed from geometric cut surface cells which move independently to provide excellent user comfort, reduce shear and friction and optimise pressure reduction.The key hole channels at the base of each cell allows essential air circulation, minimising the build up of heat and moisture. The outer cover is a multi stretch, waterproof, PU fabric and a full length flap conceals the zip. These features combine to effectively reduce the potential of fluid entering the mattress.
The base of the mattress has a toughened PU coating to prolong its longevity and it's important to note that this mattress does not require turning or rotating, which significantly minimises manual handling issues.
